About me

Hello i’m Paul, I own Quarterback Consulting. Quarterback is a talent consultancy specialising in Talent Acquisition.


I've been in Talent now for over 25 years. I started agency-side doing everything from high volume to highly specialist roles (and everything in between) including number of years working in international executive search within corporate security. 


I then moved in-house: I have run the recruitment function for a creative agency, spent 5 years as Head of Recruitment at Innocent Drinks, and then moved into working at hyper growth scale-ups. 

I spent time at a Series B tech scale-up as their Head of People, at a Series C 'Tech Unicorn' as their Head of Talent and then as Director of Talent at within Edtech where I looked after after the TA, and People Engagement functions.  



What I do


I will work in your team to support or run your recruiting activities - either alongside an existing team to help with a busy growth period or, to own and run TA projects from scratch.  



With over 20 years in recruitment leadership roles I can provide interim management, plus training and development to talent teams.


The market is tough at the moment so everyone involved in recruiting needs to be an expert at finding and choosing the very best people  - whilst staying legal and ethical. 



Our training courses are for anyone who may be hiring in the near future.
